Grow your sales line

Most businesses want, and need, to grow both revenue and profit, but that is almost always easier said than done.

My experience of growing both revenue and profit in a number of different businesses has given me the expertise to develop simple and actionable plans to help businesses thrive.

How it works

1
Understand & Analyse

This is absolutely crucial and success has to be built on the right foundations with a brutally honest appraisal from the get-go … Only by acknowledging the reality of the business, both good and bad, can you build a robust business that really plays to its strengths.

2
Strategise & Plan

The best strategies I have seen, created or simply delivered are ones that can be executed. They can, and crucially should, be ambitious and a good strategy and plan should inspire everyone involved. A complicated, unrealistic or muddled strategy will mostly likely fail on the very first day and you will waste time, money and momentum.

3
Execute & Achieve

Plans and strategies are absolutely necessary, but without successful execution they are ultimately meaningless. Executing these plans also shows you the reality of how successful they were in a business environment. It is often the course correction of these plans, once they’ve been launched, that leads to greater success as you adapt your strategy and plan inline with real time experiences.

Elevating Your Revenue Potential

Business is often challenging, for a variety of different reasons. There are usually so many different facets within a business, both internally and externally. There are usually multiple stakeholders, again both internally and externally, that it’s often very difficult to knit these together.

Knowing how to overcome these challenges and turn them into positive only comes from experience, and thankfully there are so many human variables that AI is unlikely to be able to solve these anytime soon. That is where my experience and expertise comes to the forefront and where I can offer significant value.

FAQs

Our goal is to add value through expertise and insight. The value of that value depends on a host of factors. We are not a “Silver Bullet,” and one thing that I have learnt over the years is that there is no such thing as a quick and magical fix in business. However, there are always areas that can be improved, that will lead to the overall improved health of your business, and it is these results that we will deliver.

There will be improvements in the short, medium and long term. In my experience there will be improvements that can be made quickly, alongside improvements that require planning and a clear strategy. No business is the same, but my experience is all about finding those areas where improvements can be made and benefits delivered back to businesses.

Yes. One of the reasons that I started the business was that I had worked both for, and with, businesses of differing sizes, and I learnt that my broad experience could bring a host of benefits to any business.

Very. The common perception when a consultant comes in is that they are there to take someone’s job, or to dig around and find the areas where the salespeople haven’t done a good job. The reality is that commercial success is based on the entire organisation, and the salespeople will likely continue to be the customer facing part of a business, and so their buy-in to the process is hugely important.
